Blog Post # 6

Every year on the Jamaica Trip, we attempt to catch a sunrise as a team. We were blessed to have that opportunity this morning. The sunrise was breath-taking and an incredible reminder of God's power and provision in our lives!

After taking it all in, we headed straight for our beds to catch a few more Zs before breakfast.
Our day was just like the rest this week, with our work projects starting up right after eating.

We resumed our projects from the previous day and really accomplished quite a bit! Our students have shown a lot of endurance and excitement on the trip. It's been extremely encouraging to know that we are all here as a team for one purpose.

We've gotten so used to expecting rain right around lunchtime. And, well, we did get more rain. But it was spotty, very much off and on. The rain wasn't going to stop us today from enjoying 4 hours of playing games and sports in the common area of the campus with most of the CCCD students and kids. The rain was really the last thing on our minds. Before we knew it, the dinner bell rang and it was time to say bye to the kids for the day.

The evening came to a close with devotions and worship, where our other staff members shared a small glimpse of what God has been teaching them through the experience this week.

Please pray for us Friday as we travel to YS Falls for the day!
