Another warm, beautiful morning greeted us as we walked down to our 8:30 breakfast.
We enjoyed coffee, pancakes, and fresh pineapple.
Following breakfast, we split off into two teams and sent a small number to New Hope, a local children's home, The rest of our team stayed back to tackle two projects. We spent most of our energy on the first wall that was started Monday morning while the other project involved a few of our students painting one of the CCCD classrooms.
As lunchtime approached, we were once again faced with heavy rainfall and forced to pack it up for the day. Although our team was disappointed, the rain presented another opportunity for us to spend time bonding as a team, play card games, and share about our experiences so far this week.
This evening we will be enjoying dinner, devotions and worship.
Please pray for the rain to hold of tomorrow so we can put in a full day of work!
