Day 5

Day 5! We can't even believe how fast time is flying! We had a very productive day. The concrete team mixed (by hand) and poured an entire staircase. The painting crew painted half of a dorm. Despite the strong heat and random downpours, everyone had a great attitude and work ethic. It's been encouraging to watch the progress of our work this week, and we're gearing up for our last day tomorrow. After work we were able to spend a lot of time playing with the kids and a lot of us played a soccer game with some of the older CCCD students. We finished off the night with everyone enjoying "Ting Time," which is the most delicious grapefruit Jamaican soda. It was a great day!
